Through collaboration with Silicon Graphics Inc of USA, iGene™ has designed and developed the world’s first, forensic medicine-specific, end-to-end software solution application; aptly named Digital Autopsy.

Digital Autopsy is a software based procedure utilizing the power of imaging and visualization to conduct autopsy on a digital body generated using raw data from Whole Body Scanning by Multi-Slice Computerized Tomography (MSCT) and High Performance Computing System.

Digital Autopsy provides three-dimensional capabilities to view and dissect inside and outside of the digital body in high definition visuals.

Findings or evidences generated can be stored in a server system for query and retrieval for future references in a highly secured manner. The binary data and 3D images can also be enabled to be accessed remotely using a Visual Area Network by Courts of Law, remote hospitals or Forensic Medicine Centres. Most recently, GE Healthcare Inc. has formed a partnership with iGene™ to advance the medical imaging technology for Forensic Science. Digital Autopsy can also be customized to suit for teaching medical professionals or students as well as in pre-surgical simulations.
